My Story
I completed my Master of Dietetics at Deakin University and have worked as a clinical dietitian at University Hospital Geelong as well as several other community-based locations. I am an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and a member of the Dietitian Association of Australia (DAA).

I have a special interest in weight management and diabetes management.

As a food lover, I understand the importance of enjoyment of food and believe it is important that each individual builds a positive relationship with food and their body. I give evidence-based nutrition advice tailored to each individuals’ goals, health conditions, budget, lifestyle, culture and level of physical activity.

I love cooking and trying out new recipes and in my spare time, I love gardening and spending time with my young family.
Philosophy
-
Striving for health and a healthy lifestyle is much more realistic than focusing on reaching a certain weight or BMI.
-
Let lifestyle changes be your guide to ultimate change. Regular exercise, a healthy diet and other lifestyle modifications should be the first line of solution for managing and optimising your health and preventing and or managing diseases.
-
Restrictive eating plans are not sustainable and can cause weight gain in the long term.
-
Overall diet quality matters more than calories or single nutrient amounts.
-
When you eat and exercise appropriately the weight that is right for you is the one you settle into.
-
It is important to identify what your body needs and wants and identify appetite cues and nurture our bodies with the appropriate food that we need, to be healthy.
