  1. Don’t skip or delay meals and schedule your snacks and time for snacks. Respond to feelings of hunger and if you don’t do this you might end up eating more & choose unhealthy snacks.

  2. Keep healthy snacks in the cupboard/fridge at home and work such as fruits, unsalted unroasted nuts, low-fat yoghurt, whole grain products

  3. Always pack a healthy lunch from home to work, gives you more control over what you eat

  4. Drink water instead of soft drinks

  5. Buy a few recipe books with convenient healthy recipes so that you will have a few recipes available for lunches and dinners.

  6. Choose convenient quick healthy breakfast options like 2 slices of multigrain toast with 1/4 of an avocado and 1 1/2 tbsp of feta, a bowl of porridge (made with rolled oats) with low-fat milk and some berries

  7. Make sure you eat meals with your family or friends, take time to relax and enjoy your meals
